Annual MCF College Admissions Fair
Every fall, MCF gathers together high school guidance counselors, community college transfer advisors and home school counselors for the MCF College Admissions Fair, to familiarize them with our 14 member colleges and universities. Our intention is to create greater awareness of the value, affordability and educational and career opportunities at MCF institutions, enabling attendees to better advise and counsel students in their college selection process.
The half-day event includes a morning overview presentation, lunch time panel discussion by MCF college presidents on the distinctive advantages of MCF institutions, a key note address and table visitation along with break-out sessions with college representatives to provide more specific information about each school.
Notable MCF alumni as well as student members of our Van Andel Millennial Board also participate and provide a valuable student perspective into what life is really like at MCF institutions and the difference their choice of college has made in their lives.
